Local artist Monica Veraguth is displaying works of art at the Winona Public Library throughout May and June in the Bell Art Room located on the second floor. A variety of subjects are presented, including many local landscapes, regionally inspired landscapes along with a small selection of expressionistic pieces. The event is free and open to the public. Veraguth is a self-taught impressionist artist primarily focusing on Winona area landscapes. Emphasizing exaggerated colors, while creating striking contrast that evokes a mystery and moodiness that arouses emotion.
