ARSENIC AND OLD LACE opened on Broadway in August of 1941 and has been a popular community theatre offering for decades. This 3 act comedy is a "must see" for those who enjoy glimpsing the past and watching a story unfold. Meet the eccentric Brewster sisters, charming and innocent, who populate their cellar with the remains of socially and religiously "acceptable roomers." The rest of the Brewster family and their Brooklyn acquaintances make notable stage appearances throughout the show. This is a "ready-made" comedy suitable for all theatre goers.
