The Fountain City River Players have selected the cast and crew chairs for their upcoming spring production of ARSENIC AND OLD LACE by Joseph Kesselring. Playing lead roles are: Karen Dulak, Jessica Hosch, Sean Krage, Tegan Blank, Russ Hoesley, Ann Kohner and Lindsay Czaplewski. Supporting players are: Kyle Dobrzynski, Kate Dulak, Debra Fawcett, Brianna Klapperich and Diane Petz. Crew chairs are: Jeff Hosch, jason Passow, Hayley Fast, Gary Brone and Mary Aus. Judee Brone will direct the show with assistance from Hayley Fast, Jessica Hosch and Karen Dulak.
ARSENIC AND OLD LACE opened on Broadway in August of 1941 and has been a popular community theatre offering for decades. This 3 act comedy is a "must see" for those who enjoy glimpsing the past and watching a story unfold. Meet the eccentric Brewster sisters, charming and innocent, who populate their cellar with the remains of socially and religiously "acceptable roomers." The rest of the Brewster family and their Brooklyn acquaintances make notable stage appearances throughout the show. This is a "ready-made" comedy suitable for all theatre goers.
ARSENIC AND OLD LACE opens April 6 and runs through April 10. Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. nightly with a 2:00 p.m. matinee on April 10. The theatre is located at 42 N. Main Street in Fountain City, Wis. Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $6.00 (12 and under) and will be available March 15. Tickets can be purchased at Hardt's Music and Audio and Midtown Foods in Winona and at Kwik Trip and Waumandee Bank in Fountain City.
