Two Lakes Dance Project was created in June 2010 with the purpose of providing young adult and adult dancers the opportunity to perform in the region.  Even in the short amount of time TLDP has been in existence, its goals and mission have and continue to evolve.  Though presenting new and exciting creative work to the community continues to be a high priority, the company recognizes that there are a number of other ways to reach out.  It is the goal of TLDP, presently and in the future, to organize educational seminars, master classes, lecture/demonstrations, and school residencies as well as collaborate with other local artists on mixed media/mixed genre performance projects for the region to enjoy.

TLDP is committed to integrating in to the thriving arts community in Winona and connecting with all citizens regardless of age, gender, or race.  TLDP currently has eight performing members; all of whom teach, coach, and/or choreograph for local public schools, private schools, universities, and other community events.

TLDP presents: "Theories of Connection" on Friday, August 27th and Saturday, August 28th at the Valencia Arts Center's Academy Theater.  Show times are 8:00pm both evenings with an additional 3:00pm perfromance Saturday.  Tickets will be sold at Bluff Country Co-Op beginning August 9th.  General admission is $8.00, Student and Senior tickets are $5.00.
