Local artist Monica Veraguth is displaying works of art at the Winona Public Library throughout May and June in the Bell Art Room located on the second floor. A variety of subjects are presented, including many local landscapes, regionally inspired landscapes along with a small selection of expressionistic pieces. The event is free and open to the public. Spruce Up Winona is a volunteer-based event in conjunction with Earth Day. Our mission is to clean the surrounding neighborhoods and downtown area in order to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the entire community.
Students are invited to join the team to help clean one or more blocks for the community! Volunteers will be provided gloves and trash bags and T-shirts will be provided on a first come, first serve basis!

Join the River City Ballroom Dancers at their upcoming dance on Saturday, January 14, 2012. The dance will be held at the Winona Athletic Club's 2nd floor ballroom.
