This outdoor educational event targets 5th grade students from all over the surrounding area from Pepin Elementary to La Crosse and Houston, Minn., to Black River Falls
On May 17 and 18, Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge will connect over 900 eager fifth graders with nature and provide them an opportunity to gain knowledge about the river, fish, wildlife, birds and many other interesting topics. Houston Ballet II dancers performed amazing partner movements with excellent group syncopation, along with stunning solos
Houston Ballet II is the second dance company of Houston Ballet, one of the top largest ballet companies in America, touring both nationally and internationally. Saint Mary's University in Winona, Minn., hosted the HBII on tour in the Page Theatre Thursday, November 4. Audience members ranging from SMU students to Winona community members filled the theatre creating a welcoming atmosphere for the ballet dancers to perform.
