Protesters aren’t always bitter and angry--sometimes they just care
What we share is this:
We were sad and heartbroken and astounded and appalled and devastated following the events of 9/11.
It’s not over. It will never be over. But we can leave. Please let us leave.
We have done our time, sold our souls, and there are many people who will not be coming back.
According to http://icasualties.org/Iraq/index.aspx, 7,302 soldiers will not be returning home.

But the most extraordinary feature of the film, and in my estimation the key element that makes Lake of Fire distinct and important, is that the film, while ostensibly addressing abortion, is really about what we talk about when we talk about abortion
On April 5th, 2011, I sponsored a screening of the film Lake of Fire on the Winona State University campus. Directed by Tony Kaye, Lake of Fire is a documentary on the abortion debate. No truer words have been spoken. Until recently, I could stand on one side of that statement and hang my head in shame because it’s clear he was speaking to me. On February 27, 2011, Corporal Andrew Wilfarht, cousin to my husband, and son to Jeff and Lori Wilfahrt of Rosemount, Minn.,...

“Happiness is not the latest gadget.” According to one Hurricane Katrina survivor, technology is not the solution to a better life.
