For Katey Bellville, yodeling came naturally.
The Midwestern rooted bluegrass and folk singer never even knew she could yodel until she was forced under the spotlight.
After winning a scholarship for being homecoming queen her senior year of high school, Bellville was asked to participate in a beauty pageant. Despite her lack of experience, she won the Miss Wisconsin title and was sent to compete in another pageant in Los Angeles, Calif.

Pianist André Watts will present the opening concert of the 2011 Minnesota Beethoven Festival, which runs from June 26 through July 17.
