There is a low mist sitting just above a field of wild flowers on Madeline Island. It is quiet and noisy at the same time. No street traffic to speak of and my brain won't shup up.

I have not written in a few weeks. I have not been able to really beekeep either. (I have done some really cursory examinations, especially of the top bars.) Three or so weeks ago I had unexpected abdominal surgery. It may take awhile to do some major lifting, though I have plenty of volunteers who will help me out.
What I could see the last two weeks look fine though Bee Glad... has little nectar though plenty of honeybees. I will be testing...

For Winona State University senior Sean Hickey--former champion power lifter, his conquests do not define him
Sean Hickey was not a champion weight lifter. He was a power lifter. He won two major power lifting competitions in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada. He won and now he’s done. Hickey was a power lifter, emphasis on the “was.”
