In a little town between Winona and LaCrosse, on Saturday, September 11, we can all celebrate the oldest commercial flour mill that Minnesota has. Set in the beautiful lush valley that opens to the Mississippi River, two miles in on County Road 7, sits little Pickwick, Minn. In the center, as in pioneering times, sits the six story stone structure the early settlers built for the new land opening up to wheat farmers in 1854.
