The city of Winona, Minn. has undergone many changes since it was settled by in 1851. In 1853, the town was laid out into plots of land, with growth expanding the size of the town rapidly over the years. In 1857, Winona was officially incorporated as a city.

Winona State University is a sponsor of the Road Scholar program “All Aboard for the Heartland! From Today to Yesterday By Train” May 15-21.
The program, which focuses on the region's distinctive history, architecture, geology, and culture, embarks from either Chicago or Milwaukee and includes stops in Wisconsin Dells/Baraboo, Winona and St. Paul.

Roster McCabe is out for their encore. We are wrapping things up here with the final song of the night and what a night it has been. I’m really glad I got to see this band because they are something.
