The world has it wrong, or at least the media does. It seems we have no real shortage of heroes--we are just looking in the wrong places.  Try walking the halls of a middle school anywhere.  In every single school you will see a jumble of whacky hormones that make some kids look like they need to head back to elementary school while others appear as if they could get their high school diploma tomorrow.

The 2011 4-H Food Show will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Lewiston-Altura Elementary School cafeteria. The event will start at 9am and goes until 12noon. Set-up may start at 8:30am. There will be the People's Choice Award again with participants voting for the Prettiest Table Setting and the Best Tasting food.
