Winona State University will host a workshop to bring LGBT issues into focus
Winona State University will present “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual Issues in Focus: A Professional Development Workshop” by Kelly Kirby from 4-10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, and from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday Nov. 6 on WSU-Rochester campus, room HS 136.

WSU's KQAL introduces a new general manager and program director as well as an app for iPhones and iPads
Winona State University announces two new employees: Doug Westerman, KQAL general manager, and Terese Tenseth, KQAL program director. Westerman‘s duties for KQAL include general radio operation, and maintaining and updating the new KQAL website (http://www.kqal.org/). He previously served as program director at KFAN and KTLK in Minneapolis-St. Paul for 23 years.

Reach Out Winona: Raking    Saturday, Oct. 16 · 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Meet at Guild Hall then disperse 114 W Broadway St Winona, MN Acts Community will be doing a monthly service project. This month we will be reaching out to the wider Winona Community by "Random Raking." We will disperse in teams and look for leaf filled yards and ask if we can help the homeowner/tenant by raking their yard free of charge, etc.

The third annual Warrior Waddle will be held Oct. 16 in conjunction with the WSU Homecoming activities. The 5K walk/run will kick off at 8 a.m. starting at Lake Lodge and moving counterclockwise around East Lake Winona to the JC Pavilion.
